Bananas Foster

bananas. brown sugar. vanilla.

Inspiration: Invented in 1951 at the world-famous Brennan's restaurant in New Orleans, Louisiana, for a dinner honoring Richard Foster, the newly-named New Orleans Crime Commission Chairman. Bananas were in abundance at the restaurant during that time because one of the brothers ran a produce company. Bananas Foster combines bananas, brown sugar and cinnamon flambeed in rum and served with vanilla ice cream. This scent captures all of that original goodness, including a much smaller flame, in an amber jar that matches the perfect color of the brown sugary sauce.
